Why I Am Here:

Pursuing a long-time love of wine, I (Winemaker Bob) started small volume wine making in 2007.  The award-winning Zinpiphany© Zinfandel and Rhone-styled #2red followed.  Passion later changed to purpose following a diagnosis of incurable prostate cancer. Determined to make the best of the situation, I created the Robert and Susan Hollander Foundation, an IRS approved 501c3 non-profit supporting prostate cancer research.  Since then, all proceeds from my wine making efforts at 2redWinery are committed to supporting prostate cancer research through the Foundation.  Your tax-deductible support will allow me to continue to produce great wines for you while supporting prostate cancer research.

Award Winning Wines!

The Campaign:
By supporting this campaign with your tax-deductible support, you are rewarded with award-winning wine library while I can continue wine making and supporting prostate cancer research.

The campaign has three parts: Your tax-deductible support.

Red wine rewards for you.

All proceeds pass to the Foundation and prostate cancer research.

About 3 million men are living in America right now with prostate cancer and about 28000 will die this year.   Prostate cancer will affect about 1 in 7 men over their lifetime.  This campaign will allow me to continue the pursuit of something I love while helping someone you may know.

What I Need, What You Get & What I Do
All proceeds above my anticipated barrel cost of $9500 are committed to the Foundation and prostate cancer research.  The Foundation currently operates with an expense rate of 0.0% (I pay the costs.)  You get the wine (see Perks; all are ready to ship in warmer weather).  I get the satisfaction of making wine and doing something useful.  In the five fiscal years the Foundation has been operational, we have made the following annual gifts:

2013-Lance Pagliaro, M.D., Department of Genitourinary Medical Oncology, MD Anderson
2014-Nima Sharifi, M.D., Department of Cancer Biology, Cleveland Clinic
2015-Padmanee Sharma, M.D., Department of Genitourinary Medical Oncology, MD Anderson
2016-Scott Dehm, M.D. Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Mayo Clinic
2017-Mary-Ellen Taplin, M.D. Department of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
2018-Scott Dehm, Ph.D. Department of Urology, University of Minnesota
2019-Chris Barbieri, M.D. M.D., Ph.D. Urologic Oncology Division, Weill Cornell Medical College

Back this campaign and reward yourself with great wines while supporting a worthy cause.
